Plenty are the seamstresses and warriors in the world. Those who can do both of these things are people of exceptional skill, and as such are a fair sight more rare. However, those who are capable of felling substantial beasts just as well as they craft a fine garment are truly uncommon. Pascel is humble about it, but any who have worn garments sewn by her battle-weary hands can attest that she is someone you only meet once in a lifetime.

Who is she, really?

Pascel is a Hyuran lady hailing from the Highlander clan. She is very clearly a lady, and claims to be just 29 summers old. She was born on the 26th sun of the Third Umbral Moon, and considers herself to lie under an umbrella of occupations. Most principally of these are Wandering Seamstress, Adventurer by Trade and Collector of fine things. If the titles of her work are not hint enough to her slightly eccentric nature, a short chat with her will alleviate any uncertainties. While she is a bit on the odd side, it is clear enough that she is very much like many other of Eorzea's adventurers. She enjoys having a hearty talk around a campfire or halfway down a mug of ale, although oftentimes she much prefers a cup of piping chamomile. Those who treat with her will find that she is no stranger to banter, and can often shoot her shot whenever things start to get rowdy. On the road, people may find her somewhat of a hassle. The truth is that, as a hobbyist, she finds it hard to resist the purchase of goods others often find worthless. Namely fine attire, and hats most prominently. However, her ability to live off the land and fend off creatures most Adventurers would flee from often makes her worth the hassle.

What does she do?

Pascel considers herself a woman of no few talents, and for good reason. By trade, she is an Adventurer; and no small time one at that. She uses the job as an excuse more than anything, one that allows her to travel all across the realm in search of fine things. However, she derives true joy from the job; especially when she can see with her own two eyes that her intervention has aided people. To her, compensation for her services in adventuring is mandatory. She needs the money, and since she doesn't sell clothing goods very often it is her main source of income. However, she isn't the type to squeeze her clientele dry; be them a customer of her goods or a recipient of her adventuring prowess. Speaking of her goods, she spends no small amount of time making fine garments to sell at markets. She does not craft as much as she used to, due to changes in demand and her new employment; but her hand has not dulled for it. While her goods may not be in similar fashion to those scant few masters of the craft, she is certainly just as good if not better than many clothiers that one may find the land over. This passion for design and fashion even leaks into her choice of armor. One could say that it's an all encompassing thing, which makes a decent amount of sense considering how much of a rampant collector she is. She has spent no shy amount of Gil on clothing, ranging from the fair and fine silks to indigenous clothing made from tribespeople. Fortunately, she has the sense to not ask for loans when traveling with others; but she will certainly be unhappy if denied the opportunity to snag something that catches her fancy.Her past is something of a self-pronounced mystery. It is unclear whether or not it is a secret worth keeping, though at a certain point she seemed to begin withholding the majority of information for the sole purpose of theatrics. That being said, she does recall certain chapters of her life with a noted somberness. Perhaps it is not all for the sake of making a show that she keeps her history to herself, least of all why she wears a patch over a scarred eye and her hair is as white as it is when she's not even seen thirty summers.
